Welcome to The St. Andrew Society of Tallahassee, Florida

Founded in 1976, the St. Andrew Society of Tallahassee (SAS) is comprised of Scots, descendants of Scottish and Ulster Scot immigrants, and many other individuals who may not be of Scottish ancestry, but who simply enjoy things Scottish. The Society's purpose is to honor, celebrate, and promote the contributions made by Scots and Ulster Scots to the foundation and growth of the United States, to Scotland, and to the world. Tallahassee's St. Andrew Society offers financial support in the form of scholarships, for those who are pursuing an education in Scottish music, dance, literature, history, and culture. SAS gathers socially several times each year for events like St. Andrews’ Day, Robert Burns’ birthday, and Tartan Day, but also just to share that common love and appreciation for all things Scottish.

The St. Andrew Society of Tallahassee welcomes all who wish to share their love of Scotland, Scottish heritage and culture. Membership is open to all & you don't have to be Scottish to belong.
